All eyes were focused on Luo Xiaoqian, including Leng Zimo's.
Even though he was extremely familiar with her, the sight of her under the spotlight still made his dark eyes inadvertently reveal astonishment.
Luo Xiaoqian was very nervous, because standing in the light, she could see nothing; amidst the utter silence, she could hear nothing. She just pursed her lips and took steps toward the direction of the piano in her memory.
As she stepped onto the stage, her high heels wobbled slightly and her body shook violently. Fortunately, she steadied herself by grabbing the railing, preventing a fall.
"Idiot!"
Upon seeing her swaying moment, Leng Zimo cursed under his breath, instinctively tightening the fingers that held his pen.
Below the stage, someone chuckled softly.
Luo Xiaoqian raised her face, stood up straight again, and bitingly made her way to the piano.
