When Jian Anning reached the bottom of the building, despite feeling chilly at heart, she knew that this incident had been Yu Zexiao's doing, helping her save face. Without his support behind her, she would never have been able to stand up to Jiang Xuanqi.
Yet, when she thought about what he had done before, she felt quite troubled again.
