I took stock of the room. The two girls stuffed their faces with food. Would it be enough? Was my food good? The questions rang in my head. But ultimately they were inconsequential and a result of my greed and pride more than anything.
"Ah- now that that's done, let's scheme." Was my smile bloodthirsty? Was it? Well only another would be able to tell. I didn't know and neither did I want to know.
"Scheme?" Jade scoffed. "I would hardly call this slaughter a scheme. For all we know we can simply end this by taking over the city, I mean how hard would it actually be?"
Celeste interjected. "It would be quite hard. You two might not have heard but I have. Sylvia, she's part of some big company." Celeste took a breath and waited for me to finish putting the plates back into the cabinets. "Meaning that all of these workers are on her payroll, kill her and the money still doesn't go away, we'll have to kill everyone and make their investments worthless."
