It was about time. Their plans… their ambitions and hearts had melded so thoroughly together that their meeting upon the real world was of due course. It wasn't something that came lightly, nor was it a subject that was even easy to broach.
But the risks they had to take, the slaughter they must reign regardless of their thoughts on the manner. It was a task that needed more than just some random amount of discretion.
"What?!" Celeste had roared. Her mouth gaped in complete surprise. "You… I'll have you know that we've only… only known the other for a couple months, is that truly enough for a meeting like this."
I snorted at her thoughts. It wasn't like she hadn't tried to seduce me the other night. It wasn't like she had tried to claim me for herself. And so to protest something as simple as meeting in real life. It sounded laughably hilarious.
