Another sigh. Realization wrought my body. I had forgotten most of my supplies far out. It wouldn't take long for me to grab them. But these… I still had questions and so I glared.
"Don't leave, I will be back. Gathering my things."
Those around nodded and stared at the last embers of their campfire. It wasn't until I was almost out of earshot that I heard the stuttering man talk again.
"Alright… yeah, we won't leave. We'll stay."
"Good. Give me one minute."
And one minute was all that I needed. It wasn't like I had left my things too far, and with my speed and strength it was easy to haul all of those things over to the fire. Gee… it wasn't like I was doing that for the past couple of days, and in a sprint too.
