The day was bright. Snow reflected the sun with vigor and when my feet rested against the ground, for a moment - that I promise - I found myself surrounded by some lovely atmosphere. Parents pulled their children this way and that, smiles upon their faces, couples held hands and wandered the barren streets.
Should a disturbance be made… well- their only response was some tiny grunt and a distant look into the distance. So that when I rested against the chair, food placed in front of me, and a punchable face within view. Ah- I took that moment to rest my eyes upon the busy streets.
People went about. And that was all. There wasn't a moment of excitement, nor of conflict. Only the tiny sorrows and joys of a smaller, less ambitious person. I took that moment and ran with it. Keeping the silence as it was.
