Then the warrior took the small talisman, made some seals with her free hand, and sent a brief message. "Two companions of warrior Joane from the intrepidity branch have come to meet her."
After storing the talisman, the warrior gave some directions and instructions on how they should behave within the territory of the Armanci Clan.
Kizaer and Ciona merely nodded and crossed the gates. As the pair walked through the interior of the Armanci Clan's territory, they could see that all the oppression that the wall imposed on external observers could not be more contrasting with the perfectly designed environment of the Clan.
In the distance, they could see some warriors practicing fights, others in training regimes. Some servants were walking back and forth, apparently taking care of chores for the evening.
