Mayor Mo Zheng was the first to speak in response to Sinon Ling's proposal. "I disagree. What happened was of too much severity to be swept under the rug."
"Director Sinon Ling, I believe you owe some explanations to the city. The Free Feathers Martial Arts School directly violated certain laws, and therefore, you are obligated to at least present the circumstances that led to this type of incident."
Mo Zheng's voice dropped an octave before he continued. "Let it be clear, Director Sinon Ling: if your explanation isn't convincingly supported by evidence, you and your martial arts school will immediately become a dark part of City of Repose's history."
Sinon Ling looked at Mayor Mo Zheng with an unsatisfactory expression and said, "Certainly, I understand the gravity of the situation, Mayor Mo Zheng. However, I wouldn't be here before you if I didn't have an alibi to defend both my school and myself."
