Mo Zheng entered the central courtyard of the city hall, accompanied by Rymann Bandolen, Sinon Ling, Mary Armanci, and Feyr Strider.
After instructing some servants who were cleaning the area to leave, the mayor retrieved a small star-shaped medal from his spatial ring. He then made a series of hand seals and chanted a minor spell.
The doors to the meeting hall had been locked per Mo Zheng's orders. After activating the enchantment, a semi-transparent dome-shaped barrier covered the entire room, isolating any sounds to prevent information from leaking out of the meeting.
Once the semi-transparent dome barrier enveloped the meeting hall, Mo Zheng continued, creating additional seals with his hands to activate inscriptions at each of the four corners.
Only after completing this process did Mo Zheng relaxed a bit and said, "Very well, I've sealed any sound from entering or leaving."
