"It seems that it won't be long before some agents begin to act more actively and directly. Soon, we may achieve the greater purpose revealed to our elders." A third figure commented. The trio walked through a dense and silent forest.
The place appeared devoid of life and movement; no sounds of animals or even rustling leaves disturbed the silence. It was as if some greater force prohibited any disturbance in the forest's tranquility.
Beyond the absolute silence, an oppressive sensation hung in the air, accentuated by the feeble rays of sunlight struggling to penetrate the forest floor due to the density of the tree canopies.
