"Are you really sure about this?" Ciona asked, her tone laced with suspicion.
"As much as I understand your concern, and even the justified reluctance… Yes, I think we should do it," Shen replied, meeting Ciona's gaze. He, too, felt uneasy about the main idea, but there wasn't much that could be done.
"You two worry too much. What could possibly go wrong?" Joane asked, her tone light, as if solving this issue were a simple matter.
This time, before Ciona or Shen could say anything, Kizaer turned to her and said, "Somehow, ever since we started walking together as a team, our plans and intentions always veer off course. Even though I don't take this luck thing seriously, I have to admit that all of this is rather strange. So yes, Ciona and Shen seem to be somewhat right in being concerned."
