Isvan Kingdom, Isvan Hert District
Bustling with people from all parts of the kingdom, the streets were more than crowded, giving Andrew who wasn't used to such crowd a hard time to maneuver his way without slapping the weak humans to bloody pieces.
Unfortunately, despite searching for the past 30 minutes, even blending with the Victorian, mixed with medieval style of clothing the people wore, dressed like a commoner whose life was barely going smoothly. Well… it would have been so if only his blonde hair and handsome face had been ruined.
So far, Andrew noticed the side winks and stares that were directed his way. Mostly from older ladies who rode in carriages.
"Well, at this rate I'm not going to find anything." glancing around at the busy passersby who acted with all serious, bantering prices, while some scurried away, appearing to be in a hurry after purchasing what they wanted to buy.
All haste no time, there wasn't a single person chit chatting or lazing about unlike he had expected.
But then…
'There should be a broker around this side.' Andrew thought, by now the outer reaches of the marketing district was in view, even more bustling as it was the exit.
'Hmm, it seems like I'll have to go for plan b.'
Just then…
Andrew grabbed hold of an innocent man who jerked in fright the next instant, before giving him an annoyed look.
"What do you want?" Displeased, the man said, suppressing his annoyance as he turned to Andrew, realizing how the young man had easily grabbed him.
'Is he a Mystic?' the man thought.
Ignoring the man's expression, Andrew went straight to the point.
"Where can I find a broker here?" Andrew said.
"Huh?" taken aback by Andrew's words, the man glanced at him from hear to toe, obviously confused why the young man before him would ask for a broker after all that was going on within the kingdom currently. For an instant the man was gripped by fear, but examining Andrew's facial features his agitated heart quickly calm down. And his eyes changed to that of greed instead.
"Hum, You see, I'm quite knowledgeable myself and know what has been happening throughout the Capital, been here for 30 years."
"Even the Three Brothers Gang would have to acknowledge me when it comes to that."
"Besides I witnessed these things most times myself, so I can give you a very detailed description of all that has happened."
"Including recently." Revealing a sneaky smile, the man came closer to Andrew.
" There are also exclusive information on where to get… noble images." the man whispered, grining as he stared at Andrew cheekily.
" So if you don't mind young sir, please patronize me."
??
"Ok" Andrew dumbfoundedly agree not expecting the hurried man he'd hijacked to get direction to be a broker himself.
Hearing Andrew agree, the man revealed a bright smile.
"If you don't mind Young sir, Daisy Brothel has a good refreshment spot to hold such conversation, just outside the district." Signaling a harmless posture, the man pointed out.
"mm" Andrew responded with a nod not a bit afraid and even curious about the Daisy Brothel, after all he had never seen a brothel in this world before.
By now,or rather after the memorable hours of fuck he had, Andrew got over the feeling of his transmigration, and not even a full 24 hours had passed since his transmigration.
Walking behind the man, both soon left the marketing district, also called Isvan Hert for short.
15 minutes later…
After arriving at Daisy Brothel the cheeky passerby he had stopped, quickly went to meet the fair receptionist whose face had been coated in excess make up, and instead earned Andrew's disgust after she gave him a wink.
…
While the cheeky man poured him a cup of tea, Andrew's eyes surveyed the isolated room they had been given with a look of interest, before settling back on the man.
'What a weird taste?' Andrew thought, finding the mix of medieval, victorian and eastern features of the room amusing.
'Why didn't they settle for one Instead.'
Mm mm
Cough!
Faking a low cough to earn Andrew's attention, the cheeky man revealed a smile.
"Before we start up, I would like to reveal my name. I'm Reginald, an information merchant, peddler, seller. Anyone you want to use, but most people use broker instead since I not only deal in that."
" Here is my services…
"An instant deal- no connection,a one time thing. Is the cheapest."
"I also have VIPs, for further transaction, customer or client."
"Lvl 1- I…."
Bang! Cutting him short, Andrew wordlessly dropped the pouch filled with gold coins on the table, knowing fully well what the crook broker was about to say.
According to what he knew, gold wasn't really useful in the palace since it was only used to facilitate normal transactions for the people.
Among Mystics with high rank ranks, Mystic stone is used as the main currency.
Silence…
Staring at the black pouch on the table, the peddler sat up with surprise on his face.
As someone would had been in business for two decades, just based on the sound, vibration and velocity of it hitting the table(of its fall). He could very well minimize the amount of wealth contained within the pouch. And just now, based on the sound of the pouch landing.
'Gold' glancing at Andrew's nonchalant expression, Reginald suppressed his wavering heart.
Not only did Andrew's nonchalant expression gave a warning sign, it also filled him with fear. Obliterating the festering thoughts in his heart.
Someone who could throw such amount of gold without caring, also meant it held no value to them. In other words, they were Mystic, real Mystic who didn't grow stagnant after awakening their ability but also broke through the Awakened Rank too cultivate it.
"Give me exclusive information on every major things that happened in the past one year. And also why everyone is acting so spooked." Andrew said, before taking a sip of the prepared tea which left a sweet impression on his tongue.
