The next morning, I was jolted awake by a loud knock on my door. Groggily, I opened my eyes and glanced at the clock. It was barely past dawn. Who could be up so early on a Saturday? I stumbled out of bed and opened the door, only to be met by Thalira's bright, enthusiastic grin.
"Good morning, sleepyhead!" Thalira chirped, her eyes twinkling with excitement. "Time to get up. We have training to do."
"Thalira, it's Saturday," I groaned, rubbing my eyes. "Can't we start a bit later?"
"Nope! The tournament won't wait, and neither will I," she replied, pushing past me into the room. "Now, get dressed. We have a lot to cover today."
With a sigh, I reluctantly pulled on my training clothes, knowing there was no use arguing with Thalira when she was in this mood. Her energy was contagious, and despite my initial reluctance, I felt a spark of excitement at the thought of our training session.
