I woke up feeling oddly great, considering I was deep in the demon realm, surrounded by potential enemies, and desperately trying to avoid demon guards who were likely still on my trail. Stretching, I took a moment to savor the peacefulness of the moment.
The dawn was breaking, casting a soft glow over the strange landscape. For a fleeting second, I almost forgot my predicament.
Then, reality came crashing back in. "Oh, right," I muttered to myself. "Demon guards. Got to stay under the radar."
My stomach growled, reminding me that I hadn't eaten anything since... well, I couldn't remember the last time I had a decent meal. I needed food, and quickly. I glanced around, assessing my surroundings. There was a stream nearby, its water glinting invitingly in the early morning light. Well it was great that there was water maybe I could find some fish.
"Fish," I decided. "I can catch fish. How hard can it be?"
