As Kai handed the gifts to Mister Ramo, Sofia approached him and said, "Kai, I love that you've given him these gifts."
Kai smiled humbly and replied, "It's nothing, really. I would have done it for him every day."
Just then, Mister Ramo's phone rang again. He answered, saying, "Uh, dear, I think I found a gift for our daughter."
On the other end of the line was Missus Emma Ramo, who asked, "Really? How did you manage it? I hope you didn't do anything overboard."
Mister Ramo reassured her, "No, no, my dear. You won't believe it, but my student Kai bought it for me β and he even got me a new phone."
Missus Emma's voice was filled with surprise. "Oh? You didn't... He didn't, did he?"
Mister Ramo confirmed, "Yes, he did. Bought it for me."
Missus Emma asked, "Wasn't Kai the one who was so poor and struggling because of his father's situation?"
Mister Ramo replied, "Yes, dear, but they're doing much better now."
Missus Emma sat in her room, in front of the TV, surrounded by the comforts of her own space. Her wheelchair, a constant companion for the past five years, held her fragile frame. A devastating accident had taken away her mobility, but not her spirit. Her husband, Mister Ramu, loved her with all his heart, and she knew it.
As she held the phone, she couldn't believe what her husband was telling her. "Really?" she asked, her voice filled with wonder.
Mister Ramu explained how Kai had bought him a phone and a tablet, and Missus Emma's eyes widened in amazement. "Okay, dear," she said finally. "We'll have to thank him properly next time. You should also invite him to our daughter's birthday party."
Mister Ramu agreed, and after they hung up, he turned to Kai and said, "My wife is really happy about what you did for us."
Kai smiled, pleased that he had made Missus Emma happy. Mister Ramu continued, "We'd like to invite you to our daughter's birthday party."
Kai's eyes lit up. "Really? I'd love to be there."
Just then, a bulky man with a balding head walked into the store. "Peterson Ramu," he boomed. "How much do you owe me?"
Mister Ramu looked uncomfortable. "Gobler, I meant to come to you, but I got caught up."
Gobler's face turned red with anger. "You're buying cellphones, but you can't pay me? You owe me a lot of money, Ramu."
Mister Ramu tried to explain, but Gobler wouldn't listen. Kai watched the scene unfold, wondering what was going on.
Gobler sneered at Mister Ramu, "Shut your trap, Ramo! Who knew you were so sneaky? You owe me hundreds of thousands, and now you're trying to sneak out on me?"
Mister Ramu looked worried as Gobler continued, "You'd better think twice before messing with me."
Gobler pulled out his phone and dialed a number. "Vinnie, Bruno, come and collect Mister Ramu. He's not cooperating."
Within minutes, two burly men, Vinnie and Bruno, walked into the store. Vinnie was a towering figure, with a thick beard and a menacing scowl. Bruno, on the other hand, was leaner, with a shaved head and a cold, calculating gaze. Both men were dressed in black leather jackets, their eyes fixed intently on Mister Ramu.
Gobler nodded at the two men. "Take him."
Vinnie and Bruno approached Mister Ramu, their movements swift and purposeful. Kai intervened, "Oh no, you're not doing this. This isn't happening."
Gobler glared at Kai, "You little brat, what are you meddling into? This is adult business. You'll get hurt, son."
Kai stood firm, "I'm just protecting Mister Ramu. You can't come into his shop and try to manhandle people."
Mister Ramu looked at Kai with concern, "Kai, leave it. I'll go with them. You can't take these guys on."
Gobler sneered, "Yeah, listen to Mister Ramu, kid. He knows better."
Mister Ramu thought to himself, "I don't want anyone to get hurt. I know Gobler; he's heartless and will hurt people for no reason."
Kai reassured Mister Ramu, "Don't worry, Mister Ramu. I can deal with this guy."
Kate, standing nearby, chimed in, "Go, Kai! Teach this bad man some manners."
Gobler sneered at Kate, "Hey, you little girl. You seem to like talking a lot. Wouldn't it be awful if you got hurt?"
Kai's eyes narrowed, "It seems like you're getting off track, Gobler. Your objective is me, not hurting that little girl. You'll come last."
Gobler snorted, "You think you can take on these two men? Many have tried and failed. Who are you, little brat, to take me on and my guys?"
Kai stood firm, "I'm warning you, Gobler. Leave now before I teach you a lesson."
Just then, the security guards rushed in, asking, "What's happening in here?"
Gobler smiled menacingly, "God bless me. Okay, let's start with you in this shop. Bruno, take care of the security."
Bruno swiftly moved towards the security guards, taking them down. The scene erupted into chaos.
Kai thought to himself, "I need to teach them a lesson before they hurt more people. Should I use my powers or brute force? I think I can take on these two guys."
Sophia, Kai's mother, watched anxiously, thinking, "Oh no, I hope my son can handle these two men."
One of Gobler's men felt a hand grab his wrist, and he shouted, "Let go of me!" Kai twisted the man's hand, pinning him to the ground. "Take care of yourself," Kai said, before punching the man in the chest. The man coughed and fell unconscious.
Bruno, Gobler's other henchman, sneered at Kai. "You think you can take me on? Come and try." Bruno stepped forward, but Kai moved swiftly, striking Bruno in the stomach. Bruno doubled over, clutching his abdomen in agony.
As Bruno fell to his knees, he muttered, "You little brat... I can't believe you..." His words trailed off as he collapsed to the ground.
Gobler's eyes widened in fear. "You don't come near me!" he warned Kai.
Kai stepped forward, his eyes blazing with determination. Kai said, "I warn you, you tried to hurt us."
Gobler snarled, pulling out a knife. "This knife has cut down many sheep and beasts. Now, it's your turn."
Kai smiled calmly. "Oh, really? Why don't you try?"
Gobler lunged at Kai, but Kai kicked the knife out of his hand. The knife clattered to the ground.
Gobler's face twisted in rage. "You little brat!"
Kai grasped Gobler's hand, and there was a crunching of bones. Gobler screamed in agony, "Ah! Let go of my hand!"
The people in the shop watched in awe, their expressions shocked by Kai's display of martial arts expertise.
Mister Ramu stood at the side, thinking, "Wow, Kai is an expert in martial arts! How could he do that? Wasn't he just the little boy the other boys were picking on?"
Kai let go of Gobler's hand and said, "I told you, you'd come last. You tried to hit us, and now look what happened."
Kai's eyes narrowed, "You don't come near Mister Ramu again. Do you hear me?"
Gobler stuttered, "Y-yes, I won't."
Kai released Gobler's hand, and Gobler collapsed to the ground. Kai said, "I'll let it go this time. This is a lesson for you to learn today."
Gobler nodded frantically, "Y-yes, yes."
As Gobler stood up, looking elated and uncomfortable, Kai said, "Mister Ramu, these guys claim you owe them."
Mister Ramu nodded, "Yes, I took out a loan with them for five thousand rand. But they said the interest rate is a hundred percent. I only owed them for a month, but the interest rate is too steep."
Kai reassured Mister Ramu, "Okay, I've taken care of them. They won't mess with you again. They won't dare take you on again."
Mister Ramu thanked Kai, "Thank you, Kai, thank you for what you've done."
While Kai was talking to Mister Ramu, Gobler tried to make a run for it. Kai stared at him, and Gobler froze, falling to the ground with a thud.
Mister Ramu thought to himself, "What just happened? How did he just fall to the ground?"
Just then, the sound of police sirens came from outside. The police burst in, shouting, "Police! Everybody, hands up!"
The policemen stood with their guns drawn, shouting, "Police! Police!" As they looked around, they were surprised to see that nothing seemed out of place in the shop. The atmosphere was calm and cozy.
One of the officers said, "We received a call about a robbery and assault. What's going on here?"
It turned out that while the commotion was happening, the cashier had slipped away to the toilet and called the police, afraid of what might happen.
The police officers looked around, confused, and asked, "Why isn't there any sign of a robbery or assault?"
