Kai gazed at Cable, the gun barrel inches from his face. He thought to himself, "This sounds too boring. Other guys have tried to shoot me in restaurants before. Are these guys allergic to originality?"
Cable sneered, "You're not so brave now, are you? Look at you."
Kai smiled wryly. "Man, you don't want to do this here. Look at all these people. Aren't you afraid you'll shoot someone, hurt someone?"
Cable snorted. "Afraid? You think I'm afraid?"
One guy stood in shock, while another guy asked, "What did he just do? Did he just snap his fingers?"
Someone replied, "No, he just looked at them. Maybe they were sick or something?"
Another person chimed in, "Are we in a movie scene or what? This only happens in novels, in stories."
Kai intervened, "Okay, manager, we want to eat. Can you take us to another place? I want to stay here and keep an eye on these people."
The manager asked, "But what are we going to do with all these guys?"
Kai replied, "Don't worry, they won't wake up now. They'll just lie there. But let me tell you, I'll be here. Just call me when they're trying to wake up or do something. Just call the police or do something."
The manager nodded, "Okay, sir."
Kai instructed, "We'll be eating in a room upstairs. Give us a place where we can sit and eat."
The manager agreed, "Yes, sir. The room upstairs. You can have it."
As they moved upstairs, Kate looked at Kai in awe, while his mom asked, "What did you just do? I didn't know you were this strong. Did you do any martial arts training?"
Kai downplayed his abilities, "Yes, I did some training with Mister Reginald."
Kate thought to herself, "Wow, brother Kai is so strong. He just beat up that man and all those guys."
As they sat down to eat, Kai's mom said, "Yes, Kai did that."
Kai looked at Kate, who was silent, her face stuffed with food, brown sauce on her cheeks. Kai laughed to himself.
Kate said, "Brother Kai, you are very strong. You are like Superman and Batman. You beat up guys..."
Kai's mom smiled, "Yes, Kai did that."
Just then, police vans arrived outside, and officers stormed in. "Police! Put up your hands!"
The manager, Mister Brouque, came forward, "Yes, I am the manager. How can I help you?"
Officer Kane asked, "You called for police assistance? What happened here?"
Mister Brouque began to explain, "Okay, officer, this is what happened..."
Kai asked, "What's wrong, man? What can I do?"
Cable sneered, "You're giving in, huh?"
Kai said, "Nah, I'm just playing."
With a swift move, Kai took the gun out of Cable's hand. The sound of the gun being wrestled away was followed by Cable's stunned expression.
"What? How did you...? I didn't even see you grab the gun!" Cable exclaimed.
Kai held the gun up, examining it. "Do you want to shoot me with this? It looks kinda dangerous."
Kai placed the gun next to him, thinking to himself, "What have I just done? If the police come and find my fingerprints on the gun, they'll think I'm involved with these guys."
Kai turned to Cable, his eyes blazing. "You think you can come in here and try to beat me up? But then you'll see my wrath."
With a swift punch, Kai struck Cable in the stomach, using only 20% of his power. Cable stumbled backward, unconscious.
Kai said, "Wake up, man. I'm not done with you."
Sophia watched in awe, thinking to herself, "I never knew Kai was so brave and strong."
Kai turned to the manager. "Manager, come here."
The manager scurried over, and Kai instructed, "Let these four guys call the police and get out of here."
As the gang members tried to flee, Kai concentrated his mind, focusing his energy. With a swift move, he snapped his fingers. The gang members suddenly felt a darkness wash over them, and they crumpled to the ground, unconscious.
Kai thought to himself, "Yes! My new move worked!" He had been practicing this technique at home, inspired by movies he had seen. It was a combination of mind control and a swift physical movement. He was relieved that it had been effective.
The onlookers gasped, shocked by the sudden turn of events. Sophia stared at Kai, her eyes wide with amazement.
Kai was on the upper floor, upstairs, with his mom and Kate. They were oblivious to what happened downstairs. They were chatting and doing all sorts of stuff. The manager didn't tell the officer what had happened with Kai downstairs. He didn't tell the officer because the guys were like a gang, like Tiger, who came in every month to disturb the customers and his business.
The manager whipped up a story about a man who was sitting in the restaurant and beating up these guys and then went outside. The police officer thought to himself, this doesn't make sense. A guy was beating up these guys and walked away. He didn't want credit. It's not making sense.
So the officer went deep into it and asked, really? Why, why, why, what really happened here? The manager said, as I told you, sir, this guy came, the guys came in here, tried to make trouble, and they moved out.
The officer looked around and saw a gun lying on the floor. He said, "And this gun?" As the officer looked at the gun, the manager thought to himself, "Oh no, the boy's fingerprints are on that gun. And if he finds the fingerprints on that gun, things might get crazy."
The manager said, yeah, he tried to shoot that guy, but the guy disarmed him. The officer said, disarmed? Wow, this is otherwise. Maybe it was a trained force or army. The officer also wrote all these things down and nodded his head while he spoke.
After the police, after the officer did all these things, he took all of these guys and put them into the van. He said, okay, we'll contact you further. The officer said, and the manager nodded.
After the police left, the manager went upstairs and informed Kai, "Sir, the police officer has arrived."
Kai said, okay, let's go down. The manager replied, "No need, sir. I've already told them a story to cover for you." Kai asked, "Why did you do that?" The manager explained, "I didn't want to get you in trouble, sir. You handled the situation well downstairs."
After that, the manager gave Kai a gold card and said, "Your meal is free, and this card is a VIP." Kai thanked him and took the card, putting it in his pocket.
Kai sat down, and Kate screamed, "Free meal! Free meal! Free meal!" They all laughed at Kate's excitement. After composing themselves, they decided to order some dessert. They called the waiter over, and he asked, "What might I have for you?"
Kai turned to Kate and asked, "What do you want?" Kate's eyes sparkled as she replied, "I want pudding and ice cream!" The waiter smiled and said, "Yes, ma'am!" Kai's mother chimed in, "I'll have a bowl of pudding, please." Kai also ordered a bowl of pudding.
As they waited for their desserts, the atmosphere was filled with anticipation. When the waiter returned with their orders, Kate's eyes widened as she dug into her pudding and ice cream. Her face lit up with joy, and she squealed, "Brother Kai, this is so nice! You always get me the best ice cream!"
Kate's enthusiasm was infectious, and they all couldn't help but smile at her delight. Kate continued, "Can we buy lots and lots of ice cream and take it home? I want to eat ice cream in the morning, in the night, during the day, and even in my sleep!"
Kai chuckled and said, "No, Kate, you can't eat ice cream that much." Kate looked up at him with pleading eyes and asked, "Why? Why can't I eat ice cream that much? I love ice cream!"
Kai explained, "You must also eat food to be healthy. If you only eat ice cream, you won't grow strong and big like me." Kate pouted, "I don't want to be healthy if I can't eat ice cream!"
Kai smiled and said, "Kate, you can have ice cream once or twice a day, but not all day long. You need to eat other foods to grow big and strong." Kate thought for a moment and then nodded, "Okay, brother Kai, now I understand."
