Before leaving school, Shen Hanqian made a special trip to her usual club, blow-dried her hair, applied light makeup, and changed into a new silk dress outfit that she was wearing for the first time.
"Sister, you're truly beautiful!" the makeup artist exclaimed in admiration.
Standing in front of the mirror for one final check, Shen Hanqian was quite pleased with herself. "Mm, is that because of your good skills? If it weren't for you, I'd be a total mess!"
The distinctly feminine male makeup artist was amused by her comment, covering his mouth as he laughed loudly. "Sister, you really know how to flatter me. I just love styling you, really, it's so satisfying—and then you always praise me!"
"Yeah, I'm ugly, and you turn me into a beauty all at once, so of course you feel accomplished!" Shen Hanqian picked up her small purse, waved to the makeup artist, and left!
