Lu Hechen watched her come back and nodded slightly.
Weilan also nodded, calmly walked to the table to look at the plain handkerchief. It was a silk handkerchief embroidered with a pattern of butterflies playing among peonies, a tiny group of butterflies in myriad postures around small but exquisitely detailed peonies.
A single handkerchief displayed her superb craftsmanship.
She gently touched the handkerchief and noticed that one of the butterflies had unraveled. "Shall I fix this part?"
"Yes," Lu Hechen nodded, looking meaningfully at Weilan.
He wasn't sure if Shen Weilan still remembered this handkerchief; it was the only thing that connected the two of them!
He had taken it out just to test Shen Weilan!
Indeed, she recognized it!
Although she showed no reaction, her slightly trembling long eyelashes betrayed her emotions.
"Okay," Weilan nodded, "I'll fix it for you!"
The man's gaze rested on Weilan's face, showing no intention of leaving.
