Sebastian had a playful smirk on his face as he returned to his room. He was about to lay on his bed when he felt a strong pang of pain hit his chest. This was strange, he had never felt physical pain for years now even when he did, it lasted only seconds but this, this was strong. With his hand on his chest, he sat on the bed wondering what the problem might be. After some minutes of agony the pain stopped and he looked up just to find his cousin looking down at him. His cousin could only be here for one reason, his great grandfather. His great grandfather and his cousin were ever so subtle with whatever they did that he didn't notice the moment his cousin appeared in his room. "He warned you. He told you someone will come after your life. He offered his help but you didn't take it. Well, in his stead I'm offering it again Sebastian". Sebastian huffed hearing the words of his cousin, another being he didn't trust or want anything to do with. Hades was tall and exuded raw masculinity but along with this, death and sin could be perceived from him a mile away. "Shouldn't you be busy dragging sinful souls to hell?. Anyways, I don't need your help or his". Hades looked angered but tried his best to suppress it. "Don't bother yourself about my field Sebastian, I have subordinates to do that when I'm away. Remember, we are here whenever you need us. Just say his name" Hades said before disappearing and leaving a trail of black smoke which he brought with himself earlier.
Sebastian did find what just happened with his body to be strange but he wasn't going to give in to his great grandfather or his distant cousin. Yes, that was what Hades was to him, a distant cousin. They weren't really close from the start.
Despite the strange thing that just happened, Sebastian still had a smile on his face because of the human girl on his mind and also because he was kind of excited about what's going to happen after finding out what was wrong with his body. That, he was going to find out by morning.
Gabrielle read the letter for what seemed like a hundred times, she searched the paper looking and hoping she would see an insignia that would give her a link to who wrote the letter. But she found nothing but those words, no traces to who it might be. She sighed tiredly and decided to close her eyes to sleep. Mirabelle was still wide awake, her mind wondering who might have written that letter. A part of her wanted the person to continue writing letters to her after this night because she felt that maybe one day the person would reveal himself in one of the letters. The man kept quiet the time she asked who is was, not knowing he was carefully writing down a letter just for her. She tried her best to get him off her mind and go to sleep. After some minutes, she did fall asleep.
The sun rays passed through the open space in the thick curtains resting on the king's face. Sebastian opened his eyes slowly and then got up from his bed and headed straight to the bathroom. He took of his sleepwear and sunk himself into the bath where water was already residing. As always, the maid in charge of filling his bath had come in earlier that morning to ready the king's bath. As he lay down in the bath, he recalled the innocent and a tad confused look on Mirabelle's face after what he did last night. The human had mesmerized him. Her innocence and pure sparkle attracted him, not excluding the sweet intoxicating smell of her blood. She seemed different from the other humans he had met and he was truly intrigued. It took him a lot of self control not to touch her brown hair that glistened under the moon light that night. He was really interested in the human girl and decided to write her a letter, leaving a bit of him behind and in her mind. He planned to continue writing letters to her, planting small seeds of him in her heart till he finally has all of her.
"When did you start getting attracted to a human girl Seb?" the king chuckled as he questioned his sanity. He could get himself any womam and please both his manly urges and bloodlust but somehow his mind only swirled around Mirabelle from the first day he saw her.
He loathed humans but surprisingly, he found himself attracted to one. A blind one.
