Chereads / Rise of the broken Omega / Chapter 11 - Chapter 10

Chapter 11 - Chapter 10

Two weeks had passed. Alsen had just recovered and his next plan was to flee the city without telling anyone. He felt bad that he had to just vanish into thin air without mentioning something to Carami and Arthur who had been taking care of him for the past months.

"I'm sorry Cara, I'm sorry Arthur but this is the only thing I can do to keep you guys safe." He whispered as he stared at the shining night view of the city from the balcony.

"This house felt more like home than the house I grew up for years. I wish I could give my baby a happy complete family." He touched his baby bump as thoughts flooded in his mind.

Months ago, he was the loved young master of the Bentford family, showered with love, praises and smiles. He was the diva among all Omegas who were capable business men and could shake the world with just a single line. Karma sure is a bitch,it stabs you in the back unexpectedly.

"For now, I gotta focus on how to make my life better." He thought and grabbed his backpack.

"Bye Carami, bye Arthur, Farewell to City B. I will make sure to succeed in life and come back as a new person. I will make lots of money. For you guys, for myself and my baby. I will make sure to live a good life." Tears streamed down his face as the words left his mouth.

Alsen boarded a taxi and gave out his address through a written note. For the last time before leaving the city, he wanted to look at his father's face even if it was from afar. He might hate him but he couldn't bring himself to leave without seeing his face. He might have chased him out of the family but at least he was sad that he had lost his son. Alsen bet he was in his study or on the balcony smoking tobacco while looking at their family photo.

The taxi driver came to a halt at the address that Alsen had provided him after an hour of driving.

He waited to see him step down but he was surprised when the man he carried remained in the car without the slightest intention of stepping out of the car.

He glanced at him from the rear view mirror only to see his teary eyes as if he was reminded of something he didn't want to, something that hunted him in that place.

His tears began flowing down his cheeks as he looked at the closed gates of the mansion. He followed his eyes and he noticed he was looking at the man who was standing at the balcony, his back facing them and he was holding something that seemed like a photo frame in his hands.

The taxi driver came to a conclusion that the old man on the balcony must have done something terrible to the young man who was sitting behind his cab like he owned half the shared of it.

He shook his head. Everyone has that one wounded that will hurt even at the slightest point of fingers. He had no idea of what was eating up such a handsome, young and strong looking guy to the extent of breaking him im tears.

The taxi driver sighed softly before turning his head. He wanted to say some good words to make the fellow man strong, his eyes widened and he pointed at the man who was now in his own world.

"What a coincidence!" He thought to himself.

He was the same customer he carried three months ago. The last time he saw him,his eyes were as bright as the morning sun and his face was glowing.

It looks like he was going through hell for the last months to make him look like a ghost reincarnated.

The taxi driver rested his head behind his seat , hesitating to say a word to the passenger but still he did. Who knows, he might end up saving a life or two.

"Look here young man," he cleared his throat to get Alsen's attention.

Alsen stared at him blankly.

" I may not know what's making you sad or cry but in life you have to be strong and independent. Don't lose hope things some times have a way of resolving themselves." He undid his seat belt and alighted the car. He looked up once more time and the man was still there. He opened the back door for Alsen but the fella just wrapped his hands around his chest "To the airport, Sir."

The driver lifted a curious brow and closed the door. ' Kids now days are way crazy than I thought.' he thought to himself as he got back in his car and drove off.

"Bye dad, bye City B."

Shasha had just returned to city B and he walked past Alsen as he was trying to avoid paparazzi.

Later in the night, he called over his friend Masha.

"How long has it been since we last hung out together?" Masha smiled awkwardly as soon as Shasha opened the door for him.

Shasha looked at him angrily. "Get in"

Masha walked inside and two good looking ladies barely wearing nothing followed him inside "I only called one person in. Others find your way out." Shasha snapped at the girls.

"What a buzz kill! Ladies it's been nice meeting you, I will call you out another day." Masha winked seductively at the ladies before shutting the door behind him.

"So, what the hell is going on? You look like shit man. You stink." Masha plopped on the sofa

"I can't forget him." He sighed as he passed a hand through his hair

"What's wrong with you Shasha? Do you know the consequences of your actions?" Masha yelled at him.

He looked at him, Shasha looked weak and tired with bugs under his eyes.

"I know Masha, I fucking know but I just can't forget that night. His face is stuck in my head. I have tried everything I could to forget him but I can't.

I have tried having sex with different people but I couldn't get it up.

It only gets up when I think about that night and his face.

I can't smell other people's Pheromones even when I'm a dominant.

You know what hurt me the most, I was able to meet him after spending sleepless nights but I let him go. I even smelled his Pheromones today at the airport but when I turned he was already gone."

Masha gave him a questioning look.

"Yeah, I know it's crazy to. I know I'm imagining things. I need to find Alsen as soon as possible. I will do anything for my happiness so please Masha, I need you." Shasha said

"Wow,wow." Masha sighed as he clapped .

"Please," Shasha pleaded

" The person we are searching for is like a ghost. I will contact all my people if we fail to get our hands on him within a week, promise me to forget about him." Replied Masha

Shasha's phone rang, he looked at the unsaved number and hesitated to pick up.

"Shasha speaking,"

"Mr. McKinley. I'm the officer in charge of all the departs and I have happened to see the person in the picture provided." Shasha suddenly stood up and picked up his car keys.

"To the Airport,Masha." He hurried in his steps as they walked to the Elevator

He zigzagged through the cars, Masha arguing him to stop the car. It took him 20 minutes to drive an hour journey.

He hopped out of the car like crazy, forgetting about the paparazzi and everything, he didn't even close the door before running to the departure section.

"Shasha McKinley. What's his plane number?" He panted

The officer gave him a pitiful look before breaking the news to him "I'm sorry Mr. McKinley but the plane boarded 15 minutes ago."

Shasha broke into a cold sweat. He felt like his legs weren't his. He felt burning from everything part of his body. Slowly, he got down on his knees and cursed his fate.

By the time Masha reached, a crowd had formed around Shasha, taking pictures while whispering among themselve.

"This is so fucked up." Masha pushed his way forward through the crowd and covered Shasha's head with his jacket.

"Are you nuts?" He whispered as he helped Shasha back to their car.

Someone was watching them since the time they came in to the time they left, a smirk made it's way at the corner of their lips.
