The temperature in the cave plummeted suddenly, and a chill overflowed from the man's eyes.

Lu Xiaoyou's left scapula was bleeding, and the surface blood failed to clot while being continuously washed by the rain.
Reminded by him, Xiaoyou turned her head to look back, only then noticing a laceration on her left shoulder blade.
"It was probably scratched by a leaf," Lu Xiaoyou said lightly.
If it had been cut by a stray bullet or glass shard, the wound wouldn't be so superficial.
They had been galloping through the forest on horses, with so many trees falling and thousands of leaves fluttering, slicing into Xiaoyou's tender flesh without her even feeling the pain.
Yet, in her heart, she sighed. Had it been another world, she would have been invulnerable to blades and guns—a small leaf could not possibly have harmed her.
After all, she now possessed a mortal body, vulnerable enough that even leaves tossed by the blast wave could cut her skin.
