Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: You Are My Slave

On the waterbed, the corpulent corpse of a middle-aged man lay face down.

Dark red blood spread from underneath his body, staining half of the bedsheet.

Inside the wardrobe, Lu Xiaoyou was like a fairy.

"Do you know who I am?" the man's gaze shot out a cold chill, and his voice turned hoarse in its icy tone.

Lu Xiaoyou cradled his chin, breathing heat through her lips.

"I don't know who you are, but now, you are my slave!"

The man was so angry, he wanted to strangle the willful woman to death!

Lu Xiaoyou sensed the fury and danger emanating from him, which excited her.

The man's eyes were like bright, sharp arrows, but Lu Xiaoyou didn't care at all—it was truly thrilling!

She stepped outside the wardrobe, picked up the nightgown from the floor, and put it on.

Lu Xiaoyou wrapped a tissue around the gun handle and picked up the pistol from the ground.

This was her first encounter with a weapon from this world; as she grasped the gun handle, the blood in her veins boiled.

Lu Xiaoyou pointed the gun at the man sitting in the wardrobe, unable to move.

The man's eyes were dark and cold.

Was she going to kill him to silence him?

"Sorry about this," Lu Xiaoyou said brightly. She flicked her wrist holding the gun outward, and the bullet shattered the floor-to-ceiling window. The glass exploded like mercury, the fragments spilling everywhere.

She threw down the gun and dashed out, flung the door open, and shouted to the outside:

"Help!! Murder! There's been a murder!!"

She had used this man as an antidote, but if she had waited for him to regain his strength, he might have ended her with one shot!

The fat pig of a man was dead if she didn't act first, she could very well be implicated.

Her screams attracted the thugs guarding the hallway.

A few thugs rushed over and saw a woman with disheveled hair wearing only a silk nightgown clutching the doorframe; she hid behind the door like a startled little rabbit.

"What happened?" Seeing the woman looking like a scared little rabbit, the thugs felt a surge of protectiveness.

Lu Xiaoyou's voice trembled, "Boss Chen, he's dead…"

The thugs turned on the lights in the room and saw the middle-aged man lying on the bed, his body turning a shade of bluish-purple, the waterbed beneath him stained red with blood.

"Boss Chen!" A few thugs rushed to rescue him, but the man had already passed away.

Lu Xiaoyou walked to the edge of the waterbed; she turned her head to look at the open wardrobe—it was empty.

The man, he had escaped!
