"I woke up yesterday," Mochu said after a moment of silence, her voice faint.

Weiyi sensed Mochu's indifference and, recognizing the cue, did not press further, silently sitting in her spot to rest with her eyes closed.
She couldn't help but think back to the photograph incident. Had she misunderstood something, did Pei Chengde have an ulterior motive?

"We're here," Mochu's voice brought Weiyi back to reality.
Looking up, she realized they had indeed arrived at the neighborhood where Mengmeng lived.
"Thank you," Weiyi said to her with genuine gratitude.
