Pei Chenyang, aware of her feelings, swept away the gloom that clung to him and sat down beside her in a good mood.
"I'm not trying to glorify myself; I'm just telling the truth. You're usually so bold, yet on this matter, you're being as stubborn as a mule. Can't you loosen up a bit?" Pei Chenyang's gaze bore into her, his words loaded with implication.
There was no way Zhao Mengmeng couldn't catch his drift.
She certainly did, especially his smug tone, which was extremely annoying.
Zhao Mengmeng frowned. "The door is that way, don't let it hit you on the way out."

Pei Chenyang looked at her with a grin, finding nothing about Zhao Mengmeng displeasing at the moment.
"I haven't seen the baby for a few days, and I wonder if it's starting to feel strange around me." As he spoke, his hand reached under the blanket.
