Immediately, he took Song Weiyi's hand and was ready to leave.
"Hey, slow down, stop!" Song Weiyi hurriedly called out to him.
"There were only two bad ones just now, the rest are still very good. We can take a little time to pick them out, it's the same everywhere we go."
So, why waste the time?
Song Weiyi made her way back, personally selected a bag of walnuts with thin shells and plenty of meat.
"Is that okay now?"
Pei Yibai silently nodded.
"Then let's go, time to pay."
After leaving the supermarket and getting back into the car, Pei Yibai took out a few walnuts and offered them to Song Weiyi.
"Eh? Why are you giving these to me?"
"Eat," Pei Yibai uttered monosyllabically. Wasn't that pretty obvious?
"I don't like walnuts. Weren't you the one who wanted them, my dear? You can have them." Song Weiyi decisively pushed them back.
She enjoyed the process of picking them out for Pei Yibai but had no intention of tasting them herself.
