Xiaohe looked at Song Weiyi in surprise, calling her name warmly as always.
"Weiyi, you're here?"
"Sister Xiaohe." Song Weiyi carried her bag, slowly making her way to her seat, feeling somewhat ashamed to face Sister Xiaohe.
She had made promises time and again, never thinking her word would completely fail to materialize.
"Something came up at home these past few days," Song Weiyi said, her face flushed and her voice lacking confidence in her explanation.
"No worries, it's good that you're back."
Xiaohe wasn't surprised at Song Weiyi's explanation. She knew the intern was special since her second day at the office.
However, Xiaohe had always been curious: just how special was she to receive such unusual treatment?
She was bursting with curiosity but didn't dare ask Assistant Wang.
"By the way, this is the new designer, Qu Xiaoxiao."
Because she was sitting in Assistant Wang's former seat, Xiaohe made a point of introducing her to Song Weiyi.
