When Bai Yuqing left Yi Xiaofei's room, she kept muttering to herself, still holding a grudge about the roughhousing that had happened earlier. After all, in Bai Yuqing's eyes, Yi Xiaofei's talk of bone-feeling was nothing but a trick for three-year-olds, and yet he had tried to fool her with it.
But though Bai Yuqing said that out loud, her true feelings weren't like that at all. For some reason, her interactions with Yi Xiaofei were becoming more and more enjoyable.
This happiness came genuinely from within. Being with Yi Xiaofei had made Bai Yuqing much more cheerful, and her mother's illness had found a promising direction. Perhaps that was a direct contributing factor.
