Chen Ze returned to the restaurant with a dazed expression, then glanced at his phone, realizing it was already afternoon. He was uncertain if any other customers would come in today, as the timing of their arrival was always unpredictable.
"I hope more customers come today, or I don't know when I'll be able to finish serving these mango mousses," Chen Ze yawned, rubbed his eyes, and then began to prepare the chicken. He planned to get everything ready for the paper-wrapped fried chicken in advance so that he could cook quickly once it was ordered.
However, Chen Ze was still quite relieved that unlike those cafes where customers' patience averaged only ten minutes, his clients were generally easy-going, willing to wait an entire afternoon if need be, though Chen Ze hardly ever made them wait that long.
