Chen Ze clutched his own head in pain, his face full of incredulity.
"This has to be Murphy's Law, right? Definitely! The more I hope not to trigger this probability, the System just refuses to do it, right? Is it trying to trick me?" Chen Ze's face twisted with stomach pain, having already made so many portions of light cheesecake, yet not a single one had triggered the passive effect.
"Manager, the girl is ready to pay," Betty popped in and said to Chen Ze.
"Hmm..." Chen Ze nodded thoughtfully. It seemed that she was already scared off, but what should he do next?
Chen Ze stepped out and glanced over, seeing only ten skewer sticks on Yuzi's table—she had finished eating. Yuzi's expression carried a mix of satisfaction and fear.
"Customer, you ordered ten skewers, each thirty, so the total comes to three hundred," Chen Ze said with a smile to Yuzi, while contemplating whether to implement a Grade-A memory erasure (physical).
