Chen Ze and Betty sat in front of the cabinet while Hastur was still outside eating; it seemed like he would need a while longer, so Chen Ze and Betty could have lunch first.
"I'm digging in~" Betty couldn't wait to pick up her chopsticks, then grabbed a slice of duck meat, dipped it in some sweet bean sauce, and put it in her mouth.
"This is so delicious!" Betty's eyes were practically turning into stars; it was obvious that this food really suited her taste.
Or should it be said that every kind of food suited Betty's taste?
After all, Betty wasn't a particularly picky eater, so as long as it wasn't some inedible dark cuisine, she would basically finish it.
Chen Ze also picked up a piece of duck, put it into his mouth, and chewed slowly.
The duck meat was tender; even though it was roasted, it had a fruity wood aroma and a soft texture which made it particularly delicious.
