"This is a misunderstanding," Chen Ze said calmly, his expression also very serene, showing none of the signs of someone caught doing something wrong.
"I understand, I understand, boss. I'll come back tomorrow," Betty nodded with a knowing expression, then planned to back away.
"This Grey Elf is injured. Come over and help me quickly, I'm not joking." Chen Ze rolled his eyes in exasperation. He wasn't familiar with the anatomy of otherworldly beings; what if he inadvertently used the wrong medicine and ended up killing Rose?
After all, she was his first customer, and Chen Ze didn't want to witness such a horrific event. It'd be better to try and save her if possible.
"Grey Elf?" Upon hearing this, Betty ran over and helped Chen Ze lift Rose onto a chair.
"You seem to relax a lot when you heard it's a Grey Elf?" Chen Ze glanced at Betty, thinking he might have to put in some effort to convince Betty he hadn't done anything.
