Chen Ze played with the black crystal in his hands, handed to him by Nyarlathotep—it was Hearthstone: Otherworld edition, version 1.0.
However, one has to admit, as a mad scientist, Nyarlathotep really had a knack for things. This version of Hearthstone he now concocted was far better than the previous one, whether it came to the cards or the special effects. And most importantly, it now supported two-player battles.
"In any case, you can understand that, if you're not willing to believe in the Goddess of Magic, then you can only play face-to-face. Only by believing in the Goddess of Magic can you battle against other players," Nyarlathotep explained with a bit of magic to the words, but Chen Ze still found it quite comprehensible.
Which is to say, without belief in the Goddess of Magic, you can't play online; you could only play over a local network.
"Ny...Newton, what do you feel like eating?" Chen Ze curiously asked, almost misspeaking.
