"Are you guys not eating?" Chen Ze took a bite of the synthetic mushroom skewer, puzzled, and found it was nicely grilled. The mushrooms weren't too dry, soft and tasty with a hint of spiciness from the chili.
"Well..." Betty didn't know what to say, as she really hadn't tried sheep eyes before.
"Manager, can you actually eat sheep eyes?" Ronna cautiously asked.
In their small village, no one cared for sheep eyes, and only wanderers and orphans would pick them up to boil and eat.
"Of course, you can try them. They actually taste pretty good," Chen Ze said nonchalantly. There was nothing strange about eating sheep eyes to him.
Ronna nodded, then picked up a skewer of sheep eyes, took several deep breaths, and then closed her eyes to take a bite.
