To choose someone to guard the Magic Tower, they definitely need a certain research and understanding of magic and the Abyss. So, Shay first thought of seeking help from people at the hospital and the Magic Academy, but the people at the hospital seem quite busy lately. It seems there's been a massive casualty event somewhere, so much so that the hospital is carrying out emergency rescues.
Shay got a response from a chief physician he knew:
"There's been a war in the architectural world, so we're charging fees... in treating! Many have been wounded or killed, so we're taking this opportunity to charge fees... I mean, we're taking this opportunity to uphold medical ethics, make money by saving lives, and treat the sick."
"At the same time, there's been a massive fire as well as a large-scale challenge event at the Warrior Academy, and also a scenic spot murder case..."
