Memories from long ago flooded in all at once; there was nothing more beautiful than being deeply immersed in the world of memories.
Among the deities of the universe, the Dreamless Messenger, a creation of the Creator God, governed the dreams of life. She collected life's regrets and rebirthed them as Dream Eggs, where all regrets were rewritten in this brand-new dream. Those original bearers of regret would then lose those memories... and with them, parts of their lives.
Quite a few souls were willing to have their lives reborn, seeing it as a way to amend their regrets. Their very essence forgot past events, lost those experiences, while their "lives", which had held those experiences, kept recycling in the new dreams, mending their pasts.
But such acts were merely deceiving oneself.
