The Alchemy Research Conference had seemingly come to a successful conclusion, and as Shang Lin left the VIP seating area, a red-haired, imposing figure of the Volcano Messenger immediately approached him with a rather strange expression:
"How could you just agree to their promotion like that, for mere pennies no less? Moreover, you know their products are about to expire."
Earlier, the Volcano Messenger had already informed Shang Lin about the distortion of the definition of death into four proportions; the alchemists were rather stubborn. Even though they had been informed by the Volcano Messenger, they believed that the "Homunculus" was currently the pinnacle of alchemy and could not easily be affected by a definition of death.
"Are you saying that the variation in the method of the Homunculus's death will cause a large number of buyers to demand refunds and file complaints?"
The lines on Shang Lin's face reorganized, forming a standard smile:
