The academy director's expression was very serious. Seizing the opportunity when Professor Linneal and the Great Witch Ghoul were deep in conversation, he grabbed Professor Taylor's collar, his entire old face twisted as his voice squeezed through his clenched teeth:
"Taylor, were they hired by you?"
Professor Taylor's face was also very serious, as he vehemently swore an oath: "Director, you know me. If they were hired by me, I would never hire just one Holy Paladin!"
Linneal (to the Great Witch Ghoul): "You only encountered one Holy Paladin?"
Great Witch Ghoul: "Fuck, that was really awesome! This is the Sixth Era, right? There's no God of Holy Light, and yet, that Holy Paladin actually came with a bunch of Holy Light Priests. Can you believe that?"
