Chapter 25 - Chapter 25 The Fictional Creator

Old Mage Halley was quite curious about the structure of this mental space; he spoke at length, describing his observations to Manager Boer.

It seemed like a dream realm, yet it was not, being a unique spiritual world where everyone entered in a state of absolute clarity, perfectly avoiding the domain of those deities that held dominion over dreams.

There was no need to endure bizarre and peculiar dreams, nor to fall into an endless void, nor to encounter the deepest fears of one's heart.

Those gods who held dominion over dreams would not be able "to glean the value within the dreams" from any of these individuals.

"I've already checked my mental state...Transformation magic is quite miraculous, allowing one to monitor their spiritual condition even while asleep. The results showed that my current state is no different from my normal sleeping state; do you know what this means?"

"It means that I can stay here for a full day, and still return to reality feeling refreshed and full of energy."

"Especially for insomnia sufferers, this is likely to be a godsend!"

As for whether the divinities of dreams would be annoyed by this... they probably wouldn't, bearing in mind that the number of people entering here, compared to all the dreamers across various worlds, is practically negligible.

There are many who suffer from insomnia, and we haven't seen the dream gods stirring trouble over it.

Not only Professor Halley but also the other attending audience members, including the divine officials from various churches, had already begun to ponder the nature of this mental space; they too discovered that its composition was quite different from the mental prisons created by regular spellcasting.

Soon, the brilliance that appeared on stage elicited exclamations from many people, and the attention of both men was immediately diverted.

"Good evening to the ladies and gentlemen residing in the Morningwind City Cluster, as well as my colleagues from the churches, the workers from various factories, and the patrons of the taverns...."

Miss Malt stood on the empty stage in front, and many people below began to whisper among themselves; the energy they had just felt was indeed the divine glow of a deity.

The beautiful Miss Malt always made a lasting impression; after all, in this world, the Blood Clan was quite rare, originating from "Lake-Blue World," and not native to the Grey World, a place without any Blood Clan.

Not to mention a "spontaneous mutant of the Blood Clan" like Miss Malt.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I hope to take a bit of your time this evening to talk to you about our Heavenly Father and Savior—the God of Fiction!"

Following Miss Malt's opening remarks, a dense darkness appeared on stage, and then, as if a spotlight had suddenly turned on, an effigy of a "deity" quickly coalesced within the central ring of light!

Wearing a tall top hat, clothed in white feathered garments, surrounded by colorful jelly beans, the entire deity appeared sketched out as a line-drawn figure, with actions that seemed comical and distorted!

"Pleased to meet you all! I am the God of Fiction from a distant beyond!"

"The resonance of the spiritual world brings us together here; the sacred F2 connects each one of us!"

"This connection will not affect anyone's psyche to any degree, for everything here is 'fictional.'"

Even the dream realm itself is a secondary creation, relying upon the surface layer of dreams—although it exists within dreams that are inherently illusory, it still represents a fictional world, straddling the boundary between wakefulness and slumber.

The sacred F2?

All the audience members were puzzled by this term, but no one asked questions, assuming clarity would come during the presentation.

It was not uncommon for business professionals to throw around some bizarre terms and concepts before introducing their products, to draw the attention of investors and the public.

"Indeed, it is something a deity could do, but it very much resembles a transformation category spell,"

Mr. Boer muttered to himself, while the old mage let out a laugh:

"The spells of the transformation category have endless applications. In our Meteor World, those mages who can only conjure fireballs have also begun to work as manual operators in the magic power workshops."

"But everything here, while similar to transformation category magic, is quite different."

Following that, they saw the God of Fiction nod toward Miss Malt, and with a wave of her hand, various advertisements began to appear all around them. They emerged suddenly like light and shadow beside each person, yet they did not seem cluttered and remained independent of each other.

These things looked like interactive items created using transformation category magic.

Mr. Boer recognized many of the products as those of the "sponsors."

"This... the All Things Transformation Art?"

This kind of transformation category magic was exactly the kind used in the day's promotions, capable of turning all drawings and text into interactable real-world items.

However, Professor Halley's complexion changed drastically at that moment.

He looked at a certain "product" in his hands with almost shocking disbelief, fiddling with it over and over until he had completely dismantled it!

"This texture, this level of detail, this depth of interaction... this is not the All Things Transformation Art!"

The temporary interactive products created by the All Things Transformation Art have certain interactive limitations. The created items, if disassembled, would reveal to be nothing more than a clump of magic power with a bit of color on the outside; their essence is to use magic power to emulate the creation, allowing it to interact with real people.

But the products they were looking at now completely outclassed the All Things Transformation Art!

These items were not imitated by clumps of magic power, nor were they illusions created by mental energy; they were nearly indistinguishable from real physical products, and as long as one didn't leave this space, these items were "truly existing"!

Professor Halley immediately thought of his previous experience entering the arcade machine.

The pixel world inside the arcade machine... everything was also tangibly real!

"If there really were a true creator of the world, then the God of Fiction might well be considered a fictitious creator..." Such a thought popped into Professor Halley's mind, and at once, the second thought was that "this is the pinnacle of the transformation category magic"!

Manager Boer also immediately realized this was a huge "selling point"!

A product, if it aims to sell well, has several key factors that are most important.

The company's promotion of the product, the impression of the product amongst customers, and whether the product truly has excellent quality.

Often times, some customers, short on cash, would compare different products when choosing and still be indecisive. This is because they cannot confirm which product suits their needs better, nor are they certain of the products' quality!

In this process, they would waste a lot of time and energy, and to attract these customers, companies would also invest more costs in various promotions.

Traditional product or service design processes often exclude the customer from consideration, simply treating them as recipients of the product or service. How to design, how to improve, are decisions made unilaterally by the company...

He suddenly became a little restless!
