To be honest, Millie had played the games from the Fictional Church before, although they were fun, they hadn't helped in her practice of magic at all.
In the game, she could do anything, and of course, she could choose the Mage profession, including in the "God of Darkness" game world, yet once she returned to reality, her nature as the "Magic Goddess" slightly differed from others, even from other deities, resulting in her in-game acquired worth, beliefs, resources, and authority empowerment not syncing to reality.
Other deities had their own authority, representing certain concepts, and they chose corresponding professions in the game to further strengthen their authority, and maybe, if they were lucky, even gain new authorities; but for her... even the game didn't consider her a mage.
When she chose the Mage profession, she received no feedback, but since she didn't consider herself a warrior either, choosing the Warrior profession also resulted in no feedback.
