The Archbishop of the Maiti Holy See arrived at St. Carol's Monastery, which was a very normal affair.
After all, the monastery belonged to the jurisdiction of The Holy Court, but due to complex historical reasons and strife between factions in the supernatural world, St. Carol's Monastery had always operated independently. Barring deploying an Archbishop, the Maiti Holy See would find it quite difficult to directly interfere with the workings of the monastery.
At least previously, Maiti Holy See's Archbishop Ochoa, although having come to the island city of Lorenza for a meeting, had never set foot inside the cathedral of St. Carol's Monastery.
The factions were different, and there were too many mutual annoyances within the group.
Knight Karl, even though his rank was lower than that of Archbishop Ochoa, had never once bowed his head to the archbishop.
And now, with the arrival of the Archbishop, Knight Karl had no choice but to lower his head.
