"What is freedom..."
Lin An had given his own answer.
But Sylvia just stood there, repeating the question blankly. She appeared to be a woman in her thirties, wearing a modern-style light-colored floral dress with a brown linen apron draped over it.
Her nose was straight, her skin very white, making her resemble an exquisitely beautiful elf.
Except for her eyes, her eyes looked so clear and vacant, with confusion, sadness, aimlessness, and a touch of longing.
However, she didn't seem to be seeking an answer, but simply kept asking over and over.
"What is freedom..."
"What is freedom..."
Lin An had tried to communicate several times, but suddenly realized the problem and jolted awake from his sleep once again, staring bewilderedly at the city outside the window.
