Lin An furrowed his brow, "What the hell is that thing?"
"How would I know!" Ugly Head rolled his eyes again, "I was just chilling deep inside your heart, and Mr. Liu pulled this surgery on you, snatching my eyes, and my body was torn to pieces and thrown into the Spirit Realm, I really don't know!"
Lin An nodded, then looked down at Mr. Liu again.
Mr. Liu laughed out loud.
"Heart-to-Heart, don't you get it, An?"
He twisted his head, sneering at Lin An who was pressing down on him, "Experiments need a control group. The experiments on my two nieces weren't enough; you were just conveniently included as a control group. They swapped hearts, hey, and your body swapped eyes with your spirit."
Eyes are the windows to the soul; it's a wizard's common technique to start with the eyes to influence the soul.
Lin An knew a bit about it.
"Actually, there were a bunch of other control groups, but they all died; you're the only survivor."
