The moths densely filled his original spot like foam. He closed his eyes and let another cluster of moths take him back through the tunnel they had just burrowed.

He breathed a sigh of relief.
Although he couldn't tell up from down, the force of descent was so real that he knew he was falling back down to the depths of the earth.

A massive jolt came through. The chaotic visions abruptly vanished, and the Wizard wearing the raccoon mask's vision cleared.
Then, to his despair, he saw the head of an enormous black cat staring at him through the opening. A huge paw with razor-sharp claws reached into the hole towards him.
Hunting mice seemed to be an innate instinct for cats.
