The Zhou Dynasty is feeble!
The Chen Family of Bazhou rose in rebellion, gathering a multitude of followers.
In just three short months, the Chen Family had seized a vast area of the Zhou Dynasty's northern territory. Unexpectedly, however, at the eleventh hour, the Imperial Family produced a prince adept in leading troops into battle. With only thirty-thousand soldiers, he managed to halt the advance of the Chen Family's two-hundred-thousand-strong army.
The following month, the Seventh Prince ingeniously set ablaze the Chen army's boats. Without vessels, the Chen forces faced two options to cross the river: either build new ships, which would take one to two years to amass enough for their two-hundred-thousand soldiers, or wait for winter when the Jing River would freeze and the army could pass over the ice. The Chen Family chose the latter.
Thus, the war reached a stalemate.
