The light cavalry in the front row was enveloped by the red light and immediately seemed to freeze in place. Soon, their skulls cracked open, and their brains, sprouting countless tiny legs, crawled out and dashed along with the red light.
Their horses were no exception, convulsing as they fell to the ground, with the equine brains squirming out of their nostrils, looking much smaller than those of the humans.
This was a scene not even the most horrific nightmares could conjure. The red light spread across the ground, with densely packed brains crawling behind it, instantly shattering the soldier's mental defenses.
Witnessing such a terrifying scene, they all instinctively did the same thing—turned around and fled!
The orders of the commander no longer mattered; they now only wished they had grown an extra pair of legs.
Woody was no exception.
