Leisk climbed out of bed, somewhat hesitant, and discovered a pair of slippers that fit him next to the bed.
After slipping into the shoes, he did not immediately open the door. Instead, he walked around the room to see if the Fog Horn was possibly left somewhere in the room—since it was soul-bound to him, he should have been able to sense it even if it were lost, but here, he had completely lost the connection to the horn. This hollow feeling made him quite uncomfortable, but surprisingly, he also felt a faint sense of relief.
As if something pressing on his heart had loosened.
At this point, Leisk noticed a strange device on the wall.
It was about the size of a palm, with a transparent glass in the middle that emitted light from within. What was even more astonishing was that the light was colored, divided into several equal squares.
