Northern Land, Saint Xiting.
By the time April arrived, spring had already stayed in Makala for a month, yet the rivers in the harsh climes of the North hadn't completely thawed.
Not to mention Saint Xiting, an ancient city-state as far north as granny's house.
The massive Floating City of Niglaiser loomed quietly in the very center of the city, unchanged for a thousand years.
Directly below it were the Saint Xinting Grand Theater and the True Shadow Temple.
The former was predominantly dark red, complemented by gray-white and beige.
The latter, in stark contrast, was primarily white with black outlining its stern contours.
These two magnificent buildings represented the old nobility of the Northern Land and the actual rulers of today, respectively.
It might have been a compromise, perhaps out of sympathy, or simply to demonstrate magnanimity.
In any case, whenever the Holy Temple had any significant decisions to discuss, they were held at the Saint Xinting Grand Theater.
