"Your Excellency, since you come from over three hundred years ago, you must know a lot about the history of that time, right?"
Milton was startled, why was he being questioned?
His expression underwent a subtle change.
With the arrogance of someone superior, he looked down upon Heine, his patience seemingly reduced a notch.
Yet it hadn't vanished entirely.
"I do indeed know a lot about history."
He spoke deliberately, then waited for Heine to continue.
"That's great, I've always been curious, the history of the Makala mountain region seems to have been deliberately concealed..."
Heine rapidly recounted the tale of the "Duke Makala" of Barry's era and how, to this day, all that remained was a pitiable Viscount Sewen, with strong enemies surrounding his lands.
While the region was being domesticated by someone, its history was being erased.
