Half an hour earlier, in the deepest section of the Sparrowhawk Eye Mining site under the Glintgold Alliance's name, a ghostly figure was busily moving explosives.
The mine tunnel was dark and cramped, with only a beam of light cast down between two cliff faces, one tall and one short, most of which was blocked by trees at the top of the shorter mountain.
The somewhat spacious tunnel walls were nailed with dimly lit stones, providing faint illumination, making the two blood-colored stripes on the figure's leather armor particularly conspicuous.
They seemed to be mixed with a special material. When under the light, fast movement created a scarlet afterimage that seemed rather eerie.
And the owner of this leather armor...
