Not until the guards took away the limp Jon did Teacher Xia feel an overwhelming sense of unreality.
In the game, bringing down a bank president-level elite NPC was anything but a matter of simply obtaining evidence and carrying out justice.
Generally speaking, you'd first have to find a deputy who is deeply trusted by the boss but disagrees with him, then complete a series of quests to convince the deputy that what the player is doing is out of justice, not political ambition.
Next, the deputy must witness firsthand how evil the boss is, leading them to abandon the dark and join forces with the player. They'd also need to sneak into the boss's mansion to gather evidence and make backups.
Only then could the player, with the evidence in hand and both inside and outside help, enter the instance, expose the boss's true face, infuriate him, and trigger a battle.
During this process, the deputy would almost certainly sacrifice themselves, buying the player a chance to escape.
